How to make the cheapest estrogen I'd be comfortable injecting if things got REALLY bad

Homebrew E, the cheap and dirty way
This is not a good way to make estrogen, straight up. I would not recommend this unless you've tried everything else or as a backup. My current (well, before I retied at least) process is much better than this but it also costs about 10x more so I've come up with this instead for people who want a backup option.
Seriously, don't do this unless you have to, but if you do, do this instead of one of the shittier guides (like Lena's). Compounding injectable drugs is very dangerous. I've tried to make this as cheap as possible and have sacrificed quality but I would still trust this as a last resort option. I consider this more as something to do if things get really bad or in an apocalypse situation. Most of the things here have a pretty long shelf life and theoretically you can switch out the carrier oil for something easier to get.
Ingredients
I've put together a list of things you'll need including places to buy them. It's not required that you use the sources I've linked and they may not be the cheapest options but they should be pretty good.
Medical and lab supplies
Amazon
Dragon Ordnance
In total this comes out to under $200 USD not including shipping from Medical and Lab Supplies and Amazon. You will also need some latex/nitrile gloves and a medical mask (ideally n95) but I'm not including those in the price cause they're easy to get and most people already have them. Also gonna need aluminum foil and isopropyl alcohol.
Process
This is definitely cutting a few corners and hoping that any contaminants are filtered out but I've tried something very similar to this before and it worked. This process is to make 5x10ml vials of 40mg/ml EEn in MCT oil. I've added an extra 5% to account for transfer loss and stuff. 4 % EEn | 2% BA | 20% BB | ~74% oil
- Wash down the beaker and stir rid with soap and water. Wash a bowl with soap and water then fill with isopropyl alcohol and soak the stir rod and beaker in there. Remove and leave them to dry on some sort of drying rack.
- Make a weighing boat out of aluminum foil and place on the scale then tare. Weigh out 2.1 grams of estradiol enanthate and pour into the beaker.
- Draw up 1.05ml of benzyl alcohol into a 3ml syringe. If using the benzyl alcohol linked above it comes in a vial with a stopper so you'll need to use a 18g needle to draw it up. Empty the syringe into the beaker
- Using a 60ml syringe, draw up 10.5ml of benzyl benzoate, also comes in a via if you're using the option linked above. Empty the syringe into the beaker.
- Draw up 39ml of MCT oil into a 60ml syringe and empty into the beaker.
- Stir with a glass stirring rod until everything is dissolved. Once you think it's dissolved, stir for another 5 minutes.
Attach an 18g needle to a 50ml syringe and draw up the entire mixture. Remove the needle, attach the syringe filter, then attach a 25g needle to the syringe filter.
Now for the annoying part, filtering.
Pierce the stopper of one of the vials and begin emptying the syringe into it until its filled with 10ml of liquid. It's possible you may need to pierce the vial with an additional needle to prevent over pressurization of the vial but using evacuated vials should prevent the need for this.
- This is gonna fucking suck. Like really fucking suck. The amount of pressure you have to exert for such a long period of time is genuinely horrible if you're doing it by hand. There's a few options you can do like using a caulk gun or this crazy thing I rigged up (25lbs weight plate) but this is gonna be really annoying to do no matter what.
- Usually the next step would be to autoclave the vial but according to compounding textbooks this isn't strictly necessary since we're filtering directly into pre sterilized vials vials and 0.22 micron filtration should take care of anything we'd have to worry about. If you have a good pressure cooker you can autoclave the vials at 15 psi for 20 minutes but since this would cost an extra $100-200 I've skipped it for this guide. I've heard that piecing the stopper can lead to water getting in but I don't believe it tbh, otherwise vials wouldn't be able to maintain long term sterility (I think, also water might get through the sides under the stopper if it could penetrate through areas that small).
So yeah, once you're done filtering you should have 5x10ml vials of 40mg/ml EEn, or a bit over 9 years worth at 4mg a week. This is already really pushing the shelf life of MCT based injections so I wouldn't recommend doing more unless you have people to share it with. Ideal storage conditions are at either at room temperature in as dark a container as possible or at below -18C in the dark. Freezing shouldn't have any negative effects on the vial.
I hope this was informative but more than that I hope it's never needed. If you do decide to use it, good luck. Personally I wouldn't if there were other options ( like buying from a real homebrewer) but I say that from a place of privilege. If anyone who actually knows about homebrewing properly sees it they're probably gonna flame me for bad practices which says something to the quality of this, but it's not meant to be top of the line compounding advice, it's meant to be a backup option when everything else fails.
